Sometimes all we need is a little push from an outside source to make you take the leap. That is what this self-distancing, COVID-19, outbreak has done for me. Today, I have decided to take my passion for food, travel, health, fashion, media and web design viral. Turning 23 only a week ago, I felt like what better time to push myself to achieve my goals but now. No excuses. This space will allow me to share my creativity and ideas and elaborate on the things you all want to see more of. Starting a blog has been a goal of mine for a couple of years now and I always lost the motivation or cared too much of who would judge me, that I allowed it to not happen.
Recently, I attended a networking event at Monsoon in Babylon Village called Babes In Business. I met a ton of inspiring women from all over Long Island and thought to myself, what am I waiting for? Take that jump. At the event, they were offering tarot card readings for 20 bucks, so I signed up. (Really not a believer in stuff like this, but hey why not.) The reader said to me, something or someone is going to come into your life for a short period of time and will give you the push that you need. She then told me, that once I have that push, the only person who is going to get in my way, is myself. She was right, my own insecurities have gotten in the way of a lot of my goals and I am not going to allow that to happen anymore.
This is not going to be a fashion blog, a beauty blog or even a lifestyle blog. It is a space to be creative, share a passion for web design and social media and connect with people who love the same things as me.
I hope you enjoy!
