Before this pandemic changed all of our lives Emily has always expressed to me how a website and a better social media presence would benefit my business. By nature, I am a very “under the radar” personality and have been putting off being more than that. Emily came to me one day shortly after having to shut down my business due to covid19 telling me “now is the time” to develop a website. I agreed, however, I was very skeptical and nervous about the transition. Emily ensured me she was going to follow the style I have developed for the boutique and she did just that! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience working with her. She listens, has amazing ideas, and has been very innovative for myself and my business. I will continue to work with her and recommend her highly. Every experience has been EXACTLY what I want my business to appear to be.

Working with Emily on my socials and having her available as my right-hand girl is one of the best decisions I have made in 2020! Need a girl you trust and someone who knows the ins and outs of social marketing? Emily is the girl! Her constant progressive strive for success shows her hard-work, dedication, and loyalty to her clients. She has taken me from point A to point B in just one month and I couldn’t be more thankful. If you are looking for a reliable, consistent, driven marketing partner, she is the girl for you!

It would so happen that the year Cinco de Mayo falls on Taco Tuesday, it gets canceled by a virus with the name Corona (lol). For me, it is also the first time that I have not worked a Cinco at Swell in five years so things have definitely felt a little different. I love me some tequila and what better time to share some recipes than now…
Lately, I have been feeling the urge to have a glass of wine a little earlier and earlier each day (which does alcohol etiquette still apply during quarantine?) My days have been consisting of waking up, checking Instagram and Facebook, checking my emails, reaching out to clients, web designing, maybe working out and then binge-watching anything that seems interesting on TV while indulging in a casual whole bottle of wine…
In just a few messages back and forth (referencing other websites for inspiration and meeting so she can see my Bridal Suite and get to know me) Emily understood my vision for my website right away, but she was more than just a website maker. She mentioned some creative ideas I could be doing for my business and made me more excited to work with her. She is super knowledgeable, talented, personable, and will do whatever it takes to make your website look amazing and for you to be the #1 search engine when people search your type of work. I gave Emily her creative freedom to design my website because I had full trust in her and It took a big weight off my shoulder knowing I was in good hands. Don’t hesitate to have Emily build your website. You won’t be disappointed!!

Is it just me, or does this quarantine make you feel like it is happy hour all day every day? Tonight, my boyfriend’s mom, whipped up some delicious fish tacos with a fresh mango salsa so I thought it was fitting to through a little margarita into the mix. I love the freshness of a Paloma (tequila + lime + grapefruit) and love the frothiness of a shaken margarita, so I mixed the two up to bring you a Grapefruit Margarita (with a touch a mint.)
We are now 19 days into this whole ‘social distancing’ thing and I am definitely going a little stir crazy. One of my favorite past times is eating out (which we are forbidden to do right now) so I am reminiscing on some of my favorite restaurants. Here is a list of places I cannot wait to get back to once this sh*t is over!
Growing up my grandmother always told me, “Quality over quantity.” Listening to this for most of my life, I knew that when I headed on my European adventure, I was going to be buying myself a quality piece and a lifelong investment. That purchase was my first Louis Vuitton bag.
Sometimes all we need is a little push from an outside source to make you take the leap. That is what this self-distancing, COVID-19, outbreak has done for me. Today, I have decided to take my passion for food, travel, health, fashion, media and web design viral. Turning 23 only a week ago, I felt like what better time to push myself to achieve my goals but now. No excuses. This space will allow me to share my creativity and ideas and elaborate on the things you all want to see more of. Starting a blog has been a goal of mine for a couple of years now and I always lost the motivation or cared too much of who would judge me, that I allowed it to not happen.
